From just 6 weeks old, your little one is welcomed into a cocoon of warmth, love, and attentive care, where every cuddle, smile, and gentle word builds the foundation for a lifetime of confidence and curiosity.
In the Joey Room, we honour the precious first connections—helping your child feel safe, understood, and deeply valued as they begin to explore their world. Our educators are not only highly trained, they are deeply attuned to the needs of infants, guiding them through critical early milestones in movement, language, and emotional development.
Growing Through Play and Care
Every day follows your baby’s rhythm—feeds, sleeps, and play guided by what works for your family. Between naps and cuddles, babies explore through gentle play: tummy time, songs, stories, textures, and sensory discovery that nurture movement, language, and curiosity. The environment is calm and homelike, with cosy spaces to snuggle, natural resources to explore, and safe outdoor time to enjoy fresh air, trees, and birdsong.
A Day in the Joey Room
Every baby’s day looks a little different, because every baby is unique. We follow their natural rhythms, supporting feeds, sleeps, and play in line with what you do at home. In between, babies are invited to explore through:
- Sensory play – textures, sounds, and natural materials that spark curiosity.
- Movement and milestones – tummy time, rolling, reaching, crawling, and first steps.
- Songs and stories – gentle music, rhymes, and story time to grow language and connection.
- Outdoor time – fresh air, shaded play, and time to watch and wonder at the natural world.
Care moments like feeding, nappy changes, and sleep are never rushed. They’re treated as opportunities for connection, conversation, and comfort—helping your child feel safe and secure every step of the way.
Families as Partners
We see families as the heart of a child’s learning journey. Daily updates keep you connected with photos, notes, and special little moments, while open communication ensures your voice is always heard. Most importantly, the Joey Room is a place where every giggle, cuddle, and milestone is celebrated—helping babies build the confidence and security they need to grow into happy, capable learners.
